Waiting a Year -Yeah Right

Well if you remember from a previous post about 3 weeks ago that the doctor told us we needed to wait a year to get pregnant. Well...that's not what the Big Guy had planned for us. We are surprisingly expecting again! Crazy! Looks like Baby #2B will be joining our family the end of May! I do believe Katie is playing a big role on this! Our date is falling within 2 days of the anniversary when Katie went to heaven! Amazing how God has his hands in everything!

Miscarriage

I woke up in the middle of the night last night to passing blood clots. I had prepared myself for the worst. Todd and I called my parents at 2:30 am to come watch Hadley and off to the hospital we went. We ended up having a miscarriage at 16 weeks due to a partial molar pregnancy. This is a very rare condition. I had a D&C that morning. Now I have to get my blood taken once a week for the next year to make sure the tissue does not grow back. We are also told we did not need to get pregnant for a year!  This is a freak thing that happens in like 1 and 1000.  I would be the one! We are ok because the good Lord knew this baby would not be healthy.  We were supposed to find out the gender of the baby the next day so the timing was better than we didn't find out in the gender scan.

We're Moving!

We are so excited that we have found a house! Building was put on hold with Baby #2 coming. Our new home is a one story with 4 bedrooms, a rec room and a pool! Yippee! Looking forward to the summer days and nights with lots of swimming! Let the packing begin! So excited to get out of the 800 square feet we have been in for the past year.  This home is in a great area that will close

We need to talk Todd!

I have been feeling sick in the past 2 weeks. I told Todd I didn't think something was right. He rushed to the store and bought 3 pregnancy tests! They showed up with 2 bright lines in seconds. Much to our surprise, we are pregnant with number 2 due Jan. 15! It is going to be a crazy, wild and fun journey with 2 under 2! Start praying for us now!

My baby has a baby!

Hadley has started to really play with her baby. She will rock her, pat her, feed her, and hug her! Hadley can also say the word baby!

Underwear Thief

Hadley loves going in the laundry basket and grabbing our underwear or bathing suits! She puts them on like a necklace and walks around the house!

River Weekend with Fifi and Pops

Teeth!

Hadley is now brushing her teeth at night! She loves it! She is almost 13 months old with 2 bottom teeth.

Sweet Lola!

Lola joined Molly in doggie heaven today! She was a sweet bulldog! Todd and I got Lola before we were even engaged. She was the prettiest bulldog in town!

Hadley learned how to climb on vacation this past week.  Today, she climbed in and out of the rocking chair.  Todd just mentioned last night it was time to baby proof the house!

Sigler Vacation 2012

We enjoyed a relaxing week in Alice Beach this past weekend to celebrate Will Johnson's wedding and spend time with my family.  We drove thru the night both ways so Hadley would sleep.  Hadley loved the beach and baby pool! She also got to experiement with a lot of new food - cookies, gold fish, and crackers!

Fruit Roll Up - Cure for Common Cold!

 My more baby has had an awful cold and ear infection this week! However, she found a box of fruit roll ups and got into one today.  By the look on her face, I would see it is the cure to the common cold!

Cypress Grove

Todd and I took Hadley to Cypress Grove to stroll today.  We both remember going there as kids. It was a beautiful day to stroll.  Loving this 80 degree weather in April!

Love Hate Relationship

Ella and Hadley have a love, hate relationship!  Hadley loves Ella but Ella hides from her!  To solve the problem I put Ella in the bath tub or crib so Hadley could play with her.

Happy 9 Months!

 Hadley is 9 months old today! She still has no teeth and very little hair!  She loves yogurt, puffs, and yogurt snacks.  She drinks formula and water!  She has become very chatty lately making sounds like dada and baba.  She weights 17 lbs.  She is in the 20 percentile for weight, 75% for height and 90% for height! She is in a size 2 diaper and takes 2 short naps a day! She sleeps from 8:30 pm to 6:30 and is still getting up some at night. Hadley is crazy about her aunts, uncles, and grandparents.  We are so blessed to have them all so close!

First Easter

This Easter we spent the morning going to First Baptist with Mom and Dad.  After church, we had a brunch followed by an Easter Egg hunt and supper at The Haltom's. The Easter Bunny was good to Hadley this year.  He brought her an outfit, baby doll, bubble machine, paci's, and a book!
